How to make this delicious Sharwoods Balti Curry kit….

Preparing the chicken pieces for including in the Sharwoods Balti Curry Kit

STEP 1

Prepare the chicken breasts by cutting them into strips or cubes (your choice)

Pre-prepared and cut chicken strips/ cubes are also available from some stores and you can use these if you prefer

Prepare the brown onions by slicing or dicing into small pieces and then fry them off in a frying pan until they brown evenly.

STEP 3

Stir fry the chicken breast pieces in hot oil for 6 minutes in a wok or frying pan on a high heat.

Keep turning every minute so they evenly begin to brown on all sides

Lower to a medium heat and then add the curry sauce stirring continuously for 2 minutes to make sure each piece of chicken is coated.

Add the onions into the pan and stir these into the sauce for another minute.

Lower the heat to simmer the curry for 15 minutes.

Now is the time to start cooking the rice. Do that in the method that you prefer (on the hob or in the microwave etc).

Alternatively, you can transfer the curry to a slow cooker / croc pot and continue to gently cook it for later.
